Mr.Lee

Mr. Lee is a tribute to one of my favorite C64 games from the 1980s.

I tried to recreate the gameplay as faithfully as possible on a VIC-20.

It’s intentionally designed to be a bit more difficult to provide a challenging gaming experience, but it’s definitely beatable.

It runs on a standard VIC-20, no memory expansion is required.

Mr. Lee for the Commodore VIC-20 combines platforming elements with martial arts.

Gameplay and Story

As the legendary Mr. Lee, you infiltrate an enemy fortress to (who would have thought) rescue the princess.

• Objective: In each room, you must collect lanterns to open secret passages and doors to the next area.
• Enemies: Mr. Lee is constantly pursued by two adversaries:
  • The Ninja: A nimble foe who attacks with a wooden staff and kicks.
  • A slight, Marschel-Arts-Style fighter who delivers vicious kicks
